FORGE A LEGEND OF OUR OWN
layout history (versions 10-19)

This page contains all my layouts and information on those layouts. I however, do not have specific information on where the brushes came from on this page. If you'd like to know where the brushes & patterns I use come from please visit the links page. All of those sites are credited.

Versions: (20-25) (10-19) (1-9)

Version 19.0 Embraced by the Wind
Featured: Wallpaper by laichro
Existed: October 27, 2006 - January 23, 2007
Programs: Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9, Adobe Photoshop7 & Notepad
Font: Century Gothic
Comments: I made this layout with absolutely no brushes. I only used patterns. I initially didn't know where the image came from- as that I'd been sent the image quite some time ago by a friend without any explanation as to where it came from. After having it up for a while- a friend found the site where it came from and let me know so that I could properly credit the wonderful artist. :] I loved this layout until the end :P It was simple and nice- and just what I wanted at the time.

Version 18.0 Passion
Featured: Hikaru Utada
Existed: April 17, 2006 - October 26, 2006
Programs: Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9, Adobe Photoshop7 & Notepad
Font: Century Gothic
Comments: This layout featured a scan of the Passion single by Utada Hikaru. It was... very blue. And I used a ton of brushes, perhaps out of boredom. I liked the layout for a while- but in the end I started to hate it. :'[

Programs: Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9, Adobe Photoshop7 & Notepad

Comments: This layout featured a scan of a the Kekkonshiki no uta single by Miyavi. It was really wedding-ish and floral. It lasted a VERY long time also as that I had little time on my hands to work on aseriana.net while it was up.

Version 16.0 Drowning
Featured: Scan of alice nine flyer
Existed: July 1, 2005 - October 17, 2005
Programs: Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9, Adobe Photoshop7 & Notepad
Font: Trebuchet MS
Comments: This layout featured a scan of a flyer for an alice nine CD. I scanned it from one of my issues of Cure magazine. It feautured lots of brushes, and had lyrics from DéspairsRay's "REDDISH". I really enjoyed this layout for a while, but alas, it was VERY big and I became annoyed with it rather quickly. :/ I still love that photo though! ;O;/)

Version 15.0 Fairytale
Featured: YUKI
Existed: April 1, 2005 - June 30, 2005
Programs: Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9 & Notepad
Font: Trebuchet MS
Comments: I honestly am not a HUGE fan of YUKI. I do love her music, I've just never really... gotten into her hardcore. But when I was looking through photos I came across this one and it immediatly seemed perfect to me for Aseriana.Net's 2nd Birthday Layout. :3 It was VERY rainbowy~ A very festive, bright, and fun layout. I really did enjoy it a lot. It was very reflective of my attitude at the time, having come out of a very dark period of my life into a new sense of optimism and happiness! :3 Maybe it was too happy? I think the rainbow flashing links might have given someone a seizure *laugh* XD; Anyway! :D Huzzah for YUKI layouts!

Version 14.0 Snowflower
Featured: Ryuutarou of Plastic Tree
Existed: December 21 2004 - March 31, 2005
Programs: Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8 & Notepad
Font: Trebuchet MS
Comments: Good old Ryuutarou-kun. A much admired musician, and one of my favorite images of him. Ryuutarou has the image of a soft, quiet person, and that's the kind of effect I wanted for this layout. I think that I succeeded. This layout graphic was made over the time DIV of a few days, and without any real aim at all as far as brushes or effects. (I think I must work best when I have no real aim! *laughs*). I really will miss having this layout up, because although I tend to grow easily tired of layouts so dark, I never grew tired of this one whilst it was up.

Programs: Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8 & Notepad
Font: Trebuchet MS
Comments: This layout was comprised of many different layouts for my listed, guestbook, etc.- all of which were of Kagrra, members and from the same photoshoot. It was a very pretty and light colored layout. I enjoyed it til the day of it's dooom. XD; The main layout featured Kagrra,'s vocalist, Isshi. What can I say about this layout? I just really, really, enjoyed making it and having it up. It was a huge and enjoyable project for me. ^-^

Programs: Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8 & Notepad
Font: Tahoma
Comments: This layout featured the beautiful and talented Japanese Pop singer, Ayumi Hamasaki. It lasted quite a long time, especially in comparison to the few layouts preceeding it. I really loved this layout til the day I took it down, it was very soft and elegant- very easy on the eye. :3

Version 11.0 Uta
Featured: Ryou of baroque
Existed: April 8, 2004 - May 5, 2004
Programs: Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8 & Notepad
Font: Tahoma
Comments: This layout featured Ryou, the vocalist of one of my favorite bands, baroque. This layout was rather experimental I guess you could say, it was very different from anything I'd done before it and I was quite pleased with it. The only problem with it was the content box was tiny.

Version 10.0 Kiss Your Misery
Featured: Hideto "hide" Matsumoto
Existed: March 12, 2004 - April 7, 2004
Programs: Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8 & Notepad

Comments: This layout featured the much admired Hideto Matsumoto (aka hide). I used lots of brushes and tried for a shimmery effect with this layout and enjoyed the outcome. However, I was going nuts wanting to change layouts and ended up taking it down in less than a month.
